Marmie came to spend the night, and we had a great Girls’ Day shopping today. The best purchase of the day was Lyla’s first birthday present from Marmie, which came a little early. Lyla loves her new Dinosaur. We can’t wait to show Rand! :)

Other cool Lyla developments:
-She's dancing to any music as it's played. She stops everything and moves her knees.
-She's still completely preoccupied with the dogs next door. She loves to go to the fence and look at them.
-She talks all the time and is saying Yyyy, Mmmm, Nnnn, Daaa and Dooo. I think she's trying to say a derivative of "Diggity Diggity Dog", which I say to her sometimes. She woke up this morning saying "Diiii, Diii, Dooo". :)
-She's also preoccupied with anything electronic - she wants to hold everything from iPhones to cameras and gets VERY upset when they're taken from her.
