We started our day by touring a little of Michigan Ave. before Blue Man Group. Lyla & Cade discovered a Disney Store, and Cade fell in love with a Darth Vader costume, which he insisted on wearing to Blue Man.
We then made the trek to Briar Street Theater, and enjoyed the Blue Man show. Cade was complete mesmerized, wanting to know if the Men could talk. Lyla had slightly more mixed reviews - she didn't like their eyes and thought they were "creepy".
After Blue Man, we came back to the hotel, where Cade was insisted on returning to the hotel pool (aka the Igloo). Lyla really wanted to check out American Girl, so off we went down Michigan. It was so much fun!
And, no trip to Chicago would be complete without trying Chicago style pizza at Giordano's. Lyla is such a traveler! She loves trying anything! She was a little put off by sauce on top of her pizza, but she quickly figured out a way to make it work and ate 2 whole pieces. Willa loved it too:
