Power Outage

So, here's what you do when it's summertime and your power has been out for almost 24 hours...

You can't see it in the photo, but Lyla and Cade have been digging their very own mud pool, at the woods line in our bsckyard. The hose is buried in mud, and they're covered in it. 

You talk to Lincoln about how he must stay away from the generator his dad had so generously offered us...we're all plugged in, and it's been a lifesaver.

We have the best neighbor is in the world. Hands down. 

 You go back to basics. You ride bikes, you dig holes to China and you practice your best scooter riding.

It's a magical summer. 

Electricity still not on...Lyla and Cade are sleeping with me tonight. Lyla got extra ice cream tonight as we watched the stars tonight and tried to find the Big Dipper.
